For many of you 2019 came with a Bang, but that is certainly not the case for me. I am simply still having the hang over from last year. It was not until a few days ago, that I realized I had mentioned something taboo for my readers on a time close to the Lunar Calendar New Year (somewhere around Feb 4th every year). In one of the articles earlier I had quoted some heated debates about the death of a scholar which aroused the public remembrance of a similar events some forty years ago. In some part of the world, there is a convention not to mention anything un-auspicious around new year’s time. But frankly, what had happened was strictly a spontaneous response on my part, I had NOT have any bad intention at all. As I mentioned in 2016 blog, I had always been an outsider of any politics discussion before. It is because of the inspiration from Buddha and Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva that get me to work hard on Astrology and Its mundane applications. There is no sense for me to spread hatred. But if I gave you any impression of doing so, I apologize for the unintended consequence.
If we think of the phenomenon of death and birth as what the Buddhism called Impermanence, then metabolism is a nature outcome of life itself, then we can learn to let go of any compulsion to have control, and we can learn to relax and to go with the flow. The interaction of communication has a Venus archetypal denotation. We tend to decode others’ words through internal filter, and interpret outside message with inner perception/assimilation. That is why Isabel Hickey emphasized again and again that: “Spirituality is not an end in itself, it is a means of getting somewhere. This world of appearance is not the creative world; this is the world of manifestation that always changes. We create our conditions inside us and if we want to change what is manifesting in the world of appearance, we must change ourselves and our consciousness. That’s how we change what happens. I’ve seen this verified over and over. Never saw it wrong.”
Some of the people in the metaphysical circle likes to do prediction using various astrological methods or tricks/techniques. Not arguing some of these methods has their merits, but what Dane Rudhyar, one of the pioneer in modern psychological astrology argues a different perspective he came from, and his approach resonate all the better with me when I am think in metaphysical terms: “The essential purpose of astrology … is not so much to tell us what we will meet on our road, as it is to suggest how to meet it – and the basic reason for the meeting. Which quality in us, which type of strength is needed to go through any specific phase of our total unfoldment as an individual person.” He also said that: “The goal of astrology is the alchemy of personality. It is to transform chaos into cosmos, collective human nature into individual and creative personality.” … “Free will is the measure of a man’s capacity to be and act as an individual. Fate is the measure of his dependence upon collective and generic standards as determining structures.” And I think these evolutionary principle not only applicable to individual, but also to the collectives, to nations.
Finally I want to mention the border wall President Trump had been wanted so much to erect in the last two years. I read a news somewhere today that Congress is about to agree to President’s proposal. Certainly not a Fengshui master, but I remember my Fengshui school basics. It seems that from the perspective of Fengshui, the ancient metaphysical art of Heaven/Earth energy movement, according to the Three Yuan Nine Movement Flying Star Fengshui formula （三元九运飞星风水), from 2024-2043， or by another way of calculation 2017-2037 would render the South direction/region as auspicious energy source.
Chinese has a proverb that says, Thirty Year River East, Thirty Year River West (三十年河东 三十年河西 风水轮流转。）. Fengshui Circulates in Turns! Divine will not only favor a certain region/people forever. The wheel is always turning momentarily. From this sense, if we build a wall now, won’t it be possible we can blocking good energy coming to the United States sometime in the near future? Do you recall a time in the past, some South American region used to as prosperous as North American? It may very well be that our spirituality can save America so much more than erecting a wall on border. Reminding me of China’s Great Wall, which throughout the history never stopped invasion from the outsider; and of the current Fire Wall Chinese Communist Party is stubbornly maintaining which is doing just as much harm in prevent the people from knowing the truth. In his fierce criticism of socialism, President Trump is replacing it with his version of nationalism／capitalism.
